Is videoconferencing a good instrument for popularizing science over the Internet?

Videoconferencing is one of the Internet services that are currently developing intensively. The progress in the field of data teletransmission in the Internet allows for the gradual improvement of techniques enabling online Videoconferencing via the Internet.
In addition, completed Videoconferences after recording can be placed almost automatically on the profiles of social media portals.
In connection with the above, Videoconferencing is an excellent form of sharing experiences in the field of scientific research conducted by scientists.
It is also a good way to popularize scientific knowledge. In addition, debates may also be held on the Internet, and Internet-related questions may be asked by the speakers. Questions can be asked by listeners who watch Videoconferencing broadcast live, online through the Internet.
In view of the above, the current question is:
Is videoconferencing a good instrument for popularizing science over the Internet?
Please, answer, comments.
I invite you to the discussion.
Best wishes

It is a good way of disseminating scientific information quickly and effectively. In the past one had to rely on tele-conferences with accompanying difficulties of not being to display data or graphs. Copies of each session can be stored on web sites for later viewing as well.

Due to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus (Covid-19 disease) pandemic, most or almost all of the conferences in the months March - July 2020 were conducted in the form of videoconferences. Videoconferencing is a good solution if, due to a pandemic or other, it is not possible to conduct a traditional, stationary conference. But of course videoconferencing is only a substitute form as it does not provide all the possibilities for contact, communication, discussion, scientific collaboration, etc. as traditional conferences. when the pandemic expires, a significant part of the conference will be conducted in a hybrid form combining the traditional form with the remote form.
What is your opinion on this topic?
Thank you very much and best regards,

I don't think that schools from KG to undergraduate level be opened in this high time. As most of the beneficiaries at this level are children and/or young people, it may be a little difficult to execute all the precautions that health professionals have been recommending.

Sorry, the above reflection was for another question.
To your question, my possible reflection will be that video conferencing will supplement our attempt to popularize science in the internet. It is a good means to do that in the internet!

Video conferencing boosts productivity, saves time, reduces travel expenses, and overall promotes collaboration. The advantage of video conferencing is the ability to facilitate all of those benefits without requiring constant travel for face-to-face communication.

As you can see, using video conferencing is a cost effective and environmentally friendly way to hold business meetings and is gaining in popularity year on year. Whilst it may never replace the traditional face to face meeting in its entirety, it is an effective alternative, no matter what industry you are in.

Videoconferencing will be a good tool for popularizing science on the Internet, provided that the connection is excellent and that all the conditions are favorable for a videoconferencing without incidents. For example : power failure, interrupted connection. To give lessons in videoconference, there must be an equal opportunity between the students.

Dear Everyone, Dear Colleagues and Friends from RG, Thank you for the information provided and the link to interesting data in the above-mentioned issues. Thank you very much for the answers to the question: Is videoconferencing a good instrument for popularizing science over the Internet?
I also believe that in connection with the development of the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic, there has been an increase in the digitization and internationalization of education, training, interpersonal communication processes, etc. and the use of e-learning applications, online platforms and remote including videoconferencing applications.
What do you think about it?
